After two weeks of rest and rejuvenation, we returned to the overwhelming generosity you demonstrated at the end of 2021.

Thanks to you and Breast Cancer Action supporters nationwide, our year-end fundraising campaign raised just over $134,000, ensuring that we can lean into the work that lies ahead with our trademark tenacity.

2022 has already presented us with challenges to public health and our shared vision of health justice. But at BCAction, we’ll always do our part to build a world where all communities are healthy and thriving by working to stop breast cancer.

As we’ve shared with you over the last few weeks, we see 2022 as a year of organizational growth and deeper alignment to our core values. We look forward to defining our anti-racist commitments and reinvigorating our social justice roots with our strategic plan process in an effort towards achieving health justice. At the same time, we will continue to be the independent watchdog for the breast cancer movement, offer our unique brand of patient-centered, evidence-based information about breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and advocate for environmental protections to stop the disease before it starts.

If you made your donation online you should have received a donation receipt via email. If you sent us a check, rest assured that we are prioritizing processing and acknowledging your gift within the next week. In the meantime, if you have any questions about your year-end gift, please don’t hesitate to contact our Development Manager, Lopa Pal at lpal@bcaction.org.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to a world without breast cancer.
