Please join us in uplifting art and activism at our 3rd annual art auction fundraiser, Drawing the Connections.
Planning is underway for our June event and we want you to submit your art work! This inspiring event will highlight the intersection of art, breast cancer, and social justice.
BCAction is not your average breast cancer organization, and for more than three decades we have taken on this disease by addressing its root causes and related health inequalities. We encourage work from artists who feel aligned with our core values of health justice as a human right, the uplifting of diverse voices, honesty and fearless truth-telling, action over awareness, and people over profit. We welcome work from artists who are interested in addressing issues of breast cancer, gender justice, health justice and social justice; however, it is not required for you to stick to those themes or express them in a literal way. In other words, we welcome your creative perspective.
By participating in the event, you are joining our community of art-ivists and activists who work to hold the powerful accountable and to end this public health crisis. So please submit your art today or share this form with artists you know! The deadline to submit your work is April 13, 2023.
