The Drawing the Connections (virtual!) Community Gathering is TOMORROW night, June 14th at 4pm PT / 6pm CT / 7pm ET!

This social justice themed art-ivist fundraiser offers you two ways to support the work of Breast Cancer Action: an art auction featuring an intentionally curated collection that is now open, and a virtual Community Gathering event – for which there is just ONE day left to get tickets!

Community Gathering Tomorrow, June 14

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 14 is the culmination of this creative campaign when we’ll meet (virtually!) to learn more about the art and to hear from the artists and our incredible line-up of featured speakers.

Our Community Gathering will feature:

  • Our event host and emcee, popular comedian Lisa Geduldig. Lisa is a San Francisco-based comedian and the creator, producer, and MC of Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ — Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant.
  • Four participating artists: Cristy C. Road, El Maldito, Shelley Zentner, and Sonya Naumann. From spoken word to performance art, each of these four featured artists and speakers will bring their own unique vibe to our evening.
  • Breast Cancer Action’s own Executive Director KR, who will speak about our unique programming priorities and current campaigns.

Art Auction Open June 9 – 18

This collection is awe-inspiring, and it is now open for bids!

The Drawing the Connections Art Auction highlights over 40 pieces of art from values-aligned artists.

Some directly depict feelings, processes, and bodies going through breast cancer treatment. Others are not directly related to breast cancer, pinkwashing, or social justice, and instead are from creators who strongly support our work to achieve health justice.

This means there is something for everyone here. So check it out today and be sure to bid on the pieces that resonate with you before the auction closes Saturday, June 18!
