5th annual Acting Out – For the Health of It variety show

We’re thrilled that hilarious author and comedian Tania Katan will return as our emcee. If you haven’t read Tania’s memoir, My One-Night Stand With Cancer, you definitely should (and then come see her in person).

And we have an excellent line-up of Bay Area performers who are generously donating their time and talent to the show, including:

  • Gifted poet, vocalist, and spoken word artist Nazelah Jamison performing a powerful spoken word piece
  • Dynamic dance duo, Jo Kreiter and Vitali Kononov, with a piece they created just for this show
  • Thao Ngyuen, hilarious creator of the acclaimed one-woman show Fortunate Daughter, getting you laughing with her stand-up comedy
  • Members of Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS), reading from the recently published anthology Agony and Absurdity: Adventures in Cancerland
  • And more!
