We’re celebrating and recognizing staff transitions, as we welcome new Program Manager Haleemah Atobiloye!

Haleemah started with the BCAction team in September and supported our October Think Before You Pink® campaign alongside outgoing Program Manager Jayla Burton.

Haleemah has an impressive background in not-for-profit organizations and social justice advocacy.

She has a Master’s degree in International Development with a focus on the International Political Economy from Ohio University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Crescent University. Haleemah brings her social justice perspectives and several years of work experience in the social sector, and her ability to complete insightful yet empathetic mixed-method social science research strengthens the team at Breast Cancer Action.

While we celebrate Haleemah’s onboarding, we give thanks and appreciation to outgoing Program Manager Jayla Burton, for her impact in this role and all that she accomplished in during her time with us.

Jayla started with BCAction in 2019. She has been with the us through our transition to a virtual, national organization, led three years of groundbreaking Think Before You Pink® campaigns, and expanded our advocacy and policy work.

Her impact on Breast Cancer Action’s work has been invaluable and will reap lasting results.

The Breast Cancer Action community is made up of compassionate, bold truth-tellers, in our staff, our board, and our members. Thank you for your part in the continued growth of Breast Cancer Action’s unique and vital work.
