Planning is underway our 4th annual Drawing the Connections Art Auction and Fundraiser and we’re calling all artists!
We’re seeking values-aligned creatives to submit artwork to Drawing the Connections, which will be June 18th of this year (save the date!).
Whether it’s digital art, ceramics, photography, painting, textiles, jewelry, or other mediums, all submissions to this vibrant event will help highlight the intersections of art, activism, social justice, and our unique work to address and end breast cancer through a health justice lens.
BCAction is not your average breast cancer organization, and for more than three decades we have taken on this disease by addressing its root causes and related health inequalities. We encourage work from artists who feel aligned with our core values of health justice as a human right, the uplifting of diverse voices, honesty and fearless truth-telling, action over awareness, and people over profit, however it is not required for you to stick to those themes or express them in a literal way. In other words, we welcome your creative perspective.
We will feature several pieces donated to this art auction during our live event, and we support our artists with an offer to share proceeds from each piece! Whether you donate this back to Breast Cancer Action is up to you.
