It’s been long anticipated, and now it’s in your hands.
I am honored to debut our 2022 – 2027 Strategic Plan, “A Radical Strategy for Addressing and Ending Breast Cancer Through a Health Justice Lens.” It outlines our path from our roots to our vision.
We’ve seen a few shifts since the release of our 2014-2019 Strategic Plan—in leadership, in the location of our (now virtual) offices, and in the larger growing breast cancer movement. But we have always been grounded in social justice, and in our unabashed claim to our right to quality healthcare, treatment, and policies that will keep us and our loved ones safe, healthy, and thriving.
This foundational document focuses on three programmatic priorities: ACTION and Accountability, Equity and Justice, and Advocacy and Research—each navigated through our radical health justice and environmental justice lenses.

Breast Cancer Action is enduringly unique, adaptive, and consistently at the forefront of the health justice movement.
Presenting our strategic plan is an invitation to familiarize yourself with this work as a constituent, a member, or a person living with or at risk of breast cancer whom we do this work for, and an open and genuine invitation to join us in this work.
