You’re invited to TWO upcoming Breast Cancer Action events this May and June – join us as these events are heating up!

The 19th Annual Billie Gardner Loulan Memorial Luncheon
Friday, May 5th, 2023 • 7:00 – 10:00pm
At the home of Pamela Dorrell and Amit Pandey in Portola Valley

We have TWO options for you: get tickets to attend this powerful event in person or if your schedule does not allow you to attend, please consider making a donation to support our critical cause.

For 19 years, powerful, critical-thinking members of the Loulan family community have gathered to honor family and friends affected by breast cancer.

Created in honor of her mother Billie Gardner Loulan, former Board Member and treasured BCAction Activist JoAnn Loulan created this vibrant annual event that supports our work to address and end the breast cancer crisis.

This event will feature red hot music from Dr. Sig and the Super Naturals, featuring Ronny Crawford, Beth Stovall, Sig Knapstad, DB Walker, and Greg “Smitty” Smith!

Come for the cause, stay for the delicious food, inspiring program, energetic band, and wildly radical changemakers – YOU!

BCAction’s 3rd Annual Drawing the Connections is this June
Event details coming soon!

This vibrant, intersectional Art Auction and virtual Community Gathering illuminates the powerful overlap between art, activism, and social justice, also lovingly known as art-ivism!

While you can’t get tickets just yet, we need you to support this event in its planning stages by contributing your art!

Are you interested in supporting the event but you don’t have the creative skills of a sculptor, print-maker, digital designer, or other creators and craftpersons? Please – forward this email to those in your community who you think would be a good fit for this!

We encourage work from artists who are interested in addressing issues of breast cancer, gender justice, health justice and social justice; however, it is not required to stick to these themes or express them in a literal way. In other words, we welcome all creative perspectives.

Submit your art now and help grow the curated collection for Drawing the Connections 2023.

However you plug into these creative, community-based opportunities to support our work to address and end breast cancer, THANK YOU for joining us as event season heats up! We can’t wait to share in space and community with you.
