The opening night virtual gala for Drawing the Connections is just two days away!

We’re are thrilled about all the breast cancer activists who will be gathering to support our participating artist-activists, uplift art that drives forward culture change, and support BCAction’s vital work to address and end the disease.

• Our special guest artists Favianna Rodriguez (CA), Christy Chan (CA), and long-time BCAction member and activist Gaye Hyre (CT) will discuss their work as well as their commitment to social justice.
• The evening will be emceed by comedian Gabbi Poccia, who will also treat us to some of her stand-up.
• We will spotlight a few of the 36 pieces of art that will be available during our week-long auction starting the night of the event, June 17, and running through June 25.
• Performance artist Caro Novella (CA/Spain) will lead us through a powerful closing ceremony.

You also don’t want to miss updates from our new Executive Director, Krystal Redman, and our Program Manager, Jayla Burton, who will speak about BCAction’s unique programmatic priorities.
