Barbara Brenner was a hell-raiser of the first order and as Breast Cancer Action’s executive director for 15 years, she was a powerful advocate for women living with and at risk of breast cancer. Her wit, clarity, and courage put BCAction on the map as a radical women’s health activist organization.
This posthumous collection of her writings, edited by Barbara Sjoholm, form a chronicle of breast cancer research and health care activism that is as inspiring as it is informative. Please join us to celebrate the publication of So Much to Be Done: The Writings of Breast Cancer Activist Barbara Brenner with events across the country. If you would like to host an event in your community contact us at info@bcaction.org.
