California’s Governor has put the interests of Big Oil ahead of the health of millions of people.
That’s why this morning we proudly joined with our #BrownsLastChance campaign partners to give Gov. Brown the first-ever Poisonous Pumpjack Award—in recognition of his oil and gas policies that are increasing our risk of cancer and contributing to climate change. Check out video of the “awards ceremony.”
No one is more deserving of the Poisonous Pumpjack Award than Gov. Brown. In recognition of his track record, send a message to Gov. Brown right now. Tell him to stand up to the oil and gas industry!
There are just a few months left of Gov. Brown’s term, and we need your help to keep the pressure on and make sure he acts to protect public health (and the planet) by ending toxic fossil fuel production. His current policies put our air and water at risk of contamination from the chemicals used in oil and gas production. And this matters for Californians and everyone across the country.
There’s no doubt that fossil fuel production at every stage adds to our risk of cancer and contributes to climate change.
And unless Gov. Brown takes action and puts public health before Big Oil interests, the only mark he’ll leave on history will be a giant oil stain.
Tell Gov. Brown to put public health before the interests of Big Oil!
