What to Do Next? Suggestions for Women Newly Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Women newly diagnosed with breast cancer face an overwhelming and confusing array of choices about their diagnosis and treatment. BCA has created a booklet to help these women sort through the maze of decisions they face after a cancer diagnosis. The booklet, written by women who have faced these difficult decisions, includes tips and suggestions on everything from dealing with doctors to understanding treatment options to asking for help from loved ones. The most important thing you can give yourself is time to think about your options.

The booklet is available online. For a print version, contact Allison Young, BCA’s program associate, at ayoung@bcaction.org.
